BTW Teacher Training – 12/04/2015 at 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
The next Bridging the Watershed teacher training will be held on December 4, 2015 at the Jefferson Memorial from 9:30-3:30. The training will focus on an overview of the Bridging the Watershed program, how to schedule a field study, classroom activities and doing the watershed watchdogs (water chemistry) and talking trash modules if weather permits. BTW Teacher Training – 12/11/2015 at 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
The Bridging the Watershed program will be holding a BTW 201 focused on Action Projects on Friday December 11 from 9:30-3 at Rock Creek Park Nature Center located at 5200 Glover Road NW Washington DC 20015. This training will focus on Action Projects that teachers can do around their schoolyard. Some activities that are planned are a visitor center/school yard assessment, learning about trash free schools program and grant opportunities to help with doing school yard projects.
