Action Projects & Teacher Professional Development for Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences

  • DCPS/ DCPCS 5th Grade Teachers and Teachers that work with 5th Grade Students
  • July 31 – Augst 3, 2017 at Hard Bargain Farm, Accokeek, MD; 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • $500 Stipend earned upon completion of institute, and completion of an Action Project in the classroom with the assistance of the Alice Ferguson Foundation
  • Education Staff in a Bridging The Watershed (BTW) field study by June 1, 2018 (stipends will be issued June 2018)
  • $300 towards materials for Action Project completion and environmental education. Materials selected by teachers.
