Environmental Literacy Learning in “America’s Best Idea”: U.S. National Parks

Over 5,700 students learn real‐world science in regional national parks. Students
collect authentic data in areas such as water chemistry quality, biological indicator
species, runoff and sediment in the water, invasive plant species, and pollution to
lead them to become environmentally literate citizens.
