Project Wet Training: Water Education for Teachers

Eligibility: k-12 educators

Teachers, naturalists, and volunteers are invited to attend this training, hosted by the Howard County Conservancy in Woodstock, MD on March 16th.  Project WET is an international, interdisciplinary, water science and education program for formal and non formal educators of K-12 students.  Participants will leave with a broader understanding of how to bring water education to the classroom and equipped with over 90 hands-on activities that are all correlated to Maryland Science Standards.  We will be visiting our wetlands during this training.  Pack a lunch, wear sturdy shoes, and prepare for a day of hands-on investigation!
