Rick Whitehead, jazz guitar, is the recipient of the Washington Area Musician’s Association 2007 award as “Best Jazz Instrumentalist. He was the featured guitar soloist for the USAF Band’s Airmen of Note for 22 years and toured throughout the United States, Far East, and South America with the group and now leads one of DC’s most exciting jazz combos.
Steve Wolf is a premiere bassist, who fronts his own band (www.swingspeak.com) and is a sought out sideman for top name bands throughout the region, nationally and internationally.
Barry Hart, drums, has performed with The Tommy Dorsey Big Band, The Ink Spots, Bob Hope, Lou Rawls and The Drifters. Barry was the permanent drummer for Danny Gatton’s jazz quintet, Funhouse. He has played drums professionally since the age of 16. A technical master, he is as much fun to watch as he is to listen to.
