ABOUT THE POTOMAC RIVER WATERSHED CLEANUP
Each April, thousands of volunteers come out to help remove trash and litter from communities and waterways across Maryland, Virginia, and DC as part of the Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup. The largest regional event of its kind, the Cleanup provides a transforming experience that engages citizens and community leaders and generates momentum for change. This year, lead a cleanup at your local park, neighborhood, community center or street.
