Using what you have learned about trash, separate the lunch items that you will see in the Trash Sorting activity into these categories.

	Compost: food scraps and dirty, used napkins become compost at Hard Bargain Farm Environmental Center.
	Recycling: plastic bottles, metal cans, glass, paper, cardboard, and milk and juice cartons. These items go to the Recycling Center in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
	Trash: items that cannot be recycled or composted.
