Outdoor Classroom at Anne Beers Elementary School

March 18th, 2011

I visited Anne Beers Elementary School last week and received a tour of their outdoor classroom and gardens from Ms. Harris, STEM Coordinator. I love their blackboard space painted onto the side of the building. I also love all the student-made signs to identify plants and garden spaces. To see more pictures of their gardens, visit the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s Facebook page!

Anne Beers Kindergarteners Learning at HBF

November 19th, 2010

The kindergarteners from Anne Beers Elementary School came to Hard Bargain Farm this week and enjoyed their time learning about nature and farming! Their trip was paid for through our partnership with the school. Back at school, their teacher is taking them outside for lessons to incorporate EE into her curriculum!

The goats love to follow kids in the barnyard!
