Natalie Perez has been a naturalist at Hard Bargain Farm for over a year and will now step into the role of Acting Outreach Coordinator for Hard Bargain Farm Environmental Center. She is currently working on her Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy at George Mason University, focusing her studies on how to foster a connection to the outdoors through policy and education. She sits on the content and professional development task force developing the environmental literacy plan for Washington D.C. schools. She spends her time facilitating field studies with pre-K and elementary school students at Hard Bargain Farm environmental center as well as provides classroom visits to further educate students about environmental issues in their communities.
