We can’t wait to welcome you to our 7th annual wine, picnic & garden party.

Join us for this very special picnic version of our annual wine tasting fundraiser. Enjoy culinary treats from Chef Gwyn Novak from No Thyme To Cook, complemented by wine tastings from Maryland’s Janemark Winery and beer options from Mully’s Brewery, live music from local musicians, all with breathtaking views of the Potomac River and historic Mount Vernon.

This year we are excited to present an online and silent auction, with all proceeds from the event supporting the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s award-winning environmental and science education programs.

Attendees are invited to select from two ticket types:

✨General Admission Tickets: Include admission to the event, three menu food options, and free wine-tasting.

✨Special Deluxe Tickets: Include admission to the event, five menu food options, a special dessert, and free wine tasting.


Event Details

This year we are also excited to present a wine pull and an online and silent auction, with all proceeds from the event supporting the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s award-winning environmental and science education programs.

Health & Safety: We will be following all local and state health guidelines, such as social distancing, limits on attendee numbers, and masks.

Attire: Casual, comfortable shoes.

This is an outdoor wine-tasting event designed for adults; please bring your ID. In case of inclement weather, food and wine will be available for pickup. No pets allowed.


Featuring

No Thyme to Cook, located on beautiful Solomons Island, offers engaging, educational, and always entertaining one-of-a-kind culinary experiences. From cooking classes to fine wine dinners – it is not your typical night out.

Janemark Winery and Vineyard is located in Southern Prince George’s County. The owners Jane and Mark, wanted to bring their love of Napa Valley wine country to the east coast and planted Janemark’s first grapevines in 2013. Committed to sustainability, Janemark has successfully transformed fields that once grew tobacco into fields that produce some of the best grapes and wines that Maryland has to offer.

 

Mully’s Brewery is a family-run craft brewery based in Prince Frederick. Stop in to sample beers and see how it’s made, or ask for it in your local bar, restaurant or liquor store. From our family to yours, cheers!

For more than 65 years, the Alice Ferguson Foundation been championing hands-on science education and the environment. Our programs benefit thousands of students each year and inspire transformative tactics to tackle trash in our communities and waterways.

Each year, we are proud to…

  • Bring science to life for more than 8,500 students from more than 100 schools in national and state parks across the region
  • Engage more than 2,000 students through 82 day and overnight visits to our education campus and working farm
  • Teach more than 1,000 students from 12 schools about recycling and reducing waste in their classrooms and communities
  • Engage more than 9,000 volunteers across 300+ cleanups to remove more than 400,000 pounds of trash from the Potomac watershed.
