Baker Park Cleanup

April 18, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us to pick up trash and clean up invasive plants in Baker Park!

Enjoy a day of community-building while also helping to clean up our beautiful city! We will meet behind Schifferstadt Museum at 1110 Rosemont Ave, then we will disburse along Carroll Creek in Baker Park and to Waterford Park. The paths along the parks are accessible for bikes, strollers, wheelchairs, etc.

RSVP via Eventbrite is requested, but not required.

Gloves and trashbags will be provided.

To stay safe and hydrated, please bring a water bottle and wear sunscreen, sturdy/waterproof shoes (if you have them), long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and a hat.

Bring loppers/clippers if you’d like to help with the invasive plants.

This event is produced in partnership with the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River, Friends of Baker Park, and the City of Frederick.
