Volunteer with us on Saturday, April 10, from 9am-noon for a Wolf Trap Watershed Cleanup as part of the Alice Ferguson Foundation’s 33rd Annual Potomac River Watershed Cleanup! This volunteer service is a great way to help keep the park clean and kick off Connected Conservation Month.
There are only a limited number of volunteer spots to ensure the safety and social distancing of those who attend. RSVP is required to attend and pre-existing household pods are encouraged to attend together. We will be dividing volunteers into 3 separate groups based on households and to minimize overlap. Each group will have its own check-in point and section of the park they will be cleaning up.
To RSVP please email WOTR_Volunteer@nps.gov with your name and how many volunteers you would like to bring with you (limit 9 per household).
*Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced*
Bags & gloves will be provided to volunteers, though volunteers are welcome to bring their own work gloves if they wish.
The clean-up will occur on established trails of the park.
