Teachers have to attend a training/workshop to be able to schedule a field study. If interested in becoming trained on the Bridging the Watershed program and doing one of the five modules about watersheds, please apply here. Preference will be given to Prince George’s County Schools teachers. Teachers will be notified if accepted pending availability by September 19.
For the day of the training, please bring a packed a lunch and water. Try and make the lunch trash free as possible as many parks are trash free. Dress in layers since we will be doing outside activities in afternoon. Bring paper and writing utensils. Prior to the event, please review water canaries in the curriculum section to familiarize yourself with the module being conducted that day, which you can find here:
