Chesapeake Bay Trust Seeks Applications for Projects to Increase Student Awareness/Involvement in Watershed Protection
The Chesapeake Bay Trust is accepting applications for projects focused on increasing K-12 student awareness and involvement in the restoration and protection of the Chesapeake Bay and its local streams and rivers.
Through its mini grant program, the trust will awards grants of up to $5,000 to support programs that provide watershed educational experiences and/or professional development for teachers, and that advance environmental literacy in the Chesapeake Bay watershed region.
Organizations that are tax exempt under Section 502(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, schools, community associations, and faith-based organizations are eligible to apply.
