Homeschool Program

Homeschool Adventures at

Hard Bargain Farm Environmental Campus

Sessions: September 13, 2019 | January 31, 2020 | May 29, 2020

Spend the day on our 330-acre riverfront working farm with the educators of Hard Bargain Farm. Our unique program for home-schooled students and their families features hands-on learning stations focused on topics in science and agricultural education.

The first of three Home School Days will focus on Exploring Agriculture, the second on Survival Science, and the third on Water Quality. Participants and their families will visit three 30-minute learning stations staffed by our trained educators who will help guide and facilitate student discovery and engagement.

Classes are held from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, with the last rotations beginning around 1:00 pm. Lessons will begin on the half-hour and top of the hour, leaving from the Cafritz Environmental Center. The lessons are geared towards children ages 5 through 12 years old.

Tickets are $10 per child with a family rate for families with three or more children of $30. Adult head count will also be needed, so please register appropriately.  Note: Adults must accompany students at all times.

Remember to pack a trash-free lunch for a picnic on the hillside.

Sign up today and we’ll see you at the farm!
