Creeks
have flowing water and currents. Fast-moving streams are 
found in areas with mountains or hills. Slow moving streams are found
in flatter areas, such as coastal plains. Creeks are generally smaller
than rivers.

DIRECTIONS: To take your first dip, position your mouse pointer over the number 1 button on the left side of the screen. Then click with your left mouse button. Be patient, your catch will appear on the blue side of the screen. Remember to record your catch on the datasheet. Repeat ten times by clicking buttons 1 through 10 (once each) and then move on to the next habitat by clickingon the 'Next Area' words under the habitat picture.Note:you may catch the same critter more than one time. Be sure to tally it every time you catch it.
