Let's get ready to go on our hike. You will be going through several different habitats on your way to the Potomac River. Your first stop is the CREEK, then you are off to the SWAMP, the MARSH, and finally the RIVER.
To learn more about the wide variety of organisms in each habitat, you are going to dipnet and record your data. To collect accurate data, you need to be sure you take enough dips. The more dips you take, the more accurate your data will be. Today you will be dipping ten times in each habitat. Record the data you collect on your Habitat Populations Frequency Table. Make a tally mark in the appropriate space for each organism you catch, then classify it.
