Rivers have flowing water and currents. They have the same characteristics as creeks,Butterfly but they are generally larger and longer in size and length. The speed of the water determines what kinds of plants and animals can live in them.

Snail DIRECTIONS: To take your first dip, position your mouse pointer over the number 1 button on the left side of the screen. Then click ONCE with your left mouse button. Be patient, your catch will appear on the blue side of the screen. Remember to record you catch on the datasheet. Repeat ten times by clicking buttons 1 through 10 (once each) and then conclude the activity by clicking on the 'Conclusion' word under the habitat picture.

Note:you may catch the same critter more than one time. Be sure to tally it every time you catch it. Frog
