This workshop will provide a better understanding of waste, where it goes, and how you can reduce it in your schools. Through AFF’s Trash Free Schools Project teachers will brainstorm actions and lessons for their school, review curriculum, and begin a plan for their school. There will also be opportunity for hands on material development for use in the school. Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of water (preferably trash free).
Open to those teachers participating in the 2012 summer teacher/ranger institutes who are also seeking to earn graduate credit from Catholic University. Teachers need to select only one of the two workshops below to get graduate credit. Interested veteran BTW teachers may also register but are not eligible for graduate credit.
